All US Maple shells give the custom drums their warm, bright tone. The shells are designed with a 5.6mm / 45 degree 6-ply bearing edge that adds tonal depth, quick response, and provides just the right amount of sustain. Newly designed 2.3mm Inverse Dyna hoop controls the natural tones inherent in all maple drums and focuses the fundamental tone of the shell. Finished with a beautiful satin lacquer that maximizes the sonic potential of the maple body.
