Lethbridge Mietta Pinot Noir 2020

Mietta Pinot Noir is one of Lethbridge’s most personal and expressive wines. Named after the winemaker’s daughter, it reflects both a moment in time and a deliberate, uncompromising approach to Pinot Noir. Sourced from estate vines planted in 1996, the 2020 vintage was shaped under unique circumstances, allowing for a slower, more considered approach both in the vineyard and the winery. The result is a wine of depth, detail and quiet intensity. A high proportion of whole bunch fermentation brings aromatic lift, spice and structure, while maturation in new French oak builds richness and longevity. The balance between fruit, savoury complexity and tannin is what defines this wine. This is a serious Pinot Noir. Structured, layered and built to evolve, with a long, composed finish that continues to develop in the glass and over time.
